New Direction is the young adult ministry, geared for those ages 18 – 33, at the Tabernacle of David church.  The young adult age range presents many transitions and opportunities in a variety of areas including personal, familial, academic, professional, and spiritual growth and development.  As you embark on these new directions in life, our ministry is committed to our vision for equipping young adults with tools to help them reach their purpose and destiny in God.
Jeremiah 29:11 reads “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

We are confident that New Direction can help young adults cultivate the Lords’ “plans to give you hope and a future.”  New Direction houses a number of ministries to meet the needs of our young adult members; anyone between the ages of 18-33 within the Tabernacle of David are included and encouraged to partner with us in building relationships and fostering excellence among us. 

New Direction Ministries:

Church That Feeds – A monthly opportunity to dine and fellowship with New Direction Young Adult ministry. This occurs every 2nd Sunday of the month following the 11am Sunday service.

Single Parent Ministry – A safe haven where single young adults with children come together to discuss issues a single parent may face as well as get tools to help them in their daily lives

Wisdom Life Campus Ministry – A network of college students from various campuses empowered to live successfully both naturally and spiritually in the academic setting.

Word in Motion – An outreach ministry that offers young adults the opportunities to display their God-given gifts and talents.
