MINISTRY OF OUTREACH

We support the vision of the Tabernacle of David Church by making Outreach a lifestyle, with love, reaching out daily, through invitation and witnessing.  We are here to serve as well as encourage active participation and connection to the vision of the church, through participation in ministry and community outreach, reaching out to a diverse group of individuals!

Our goal is to expand and diversify the Tabernacle of David and the Kingdom of God through community outreach, by providing care in the time of need for the sick and shut-in; maintaining a 24-hour prayer line; providing feedings, shelter, and other Christian services; and providing follow up on visitors, missing members, and new converts through salvation and rededication of their lives to Jesus Christ!

FOLLOW UP—The Outreach Ministry provides follow-up via telephone, letter, community events and other means of communication.  Contact is made to congratulate those on their commitment or re-dedication to Christ, to offer a prayer on their behalf, encourage visitors to return, and answer any questions they may have regarding the Tabernacle of David.

OUR GREATEST commandment is to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and all thy mind (Matthew 22:37), and secondly we  must love thy neighbor as thyself (Matthew 22:39). As Christians, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Master; and we are his disciples and servants!

CONNECTING THROUGH CHRIST...

“Naked and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me:…” (Matthew 25:36)

Through Christian Services and our Care Ministry, we also provide other resources, and care in the time of need.

OUTREACH MINISTRIES include: 24-Hour Prayer Line; Christian Services; Care Ministry (Sick and Shut-In, Hospital Visits); Visitors, New Members, Missing Members, Inactive Members, and New Christian       Converts Follow-Up
