The Larry Mitchel Trice, Sr. (LMTS) Community Outreach Services was founded by Pastor Larry Trice, Sr., whose vision for the Outreach Center was to become a safe haven for all people, no matter their race, religious beliefs, or economic status.
Today, LMTS Outreach touches thousands of people in the Greater Lansing community, from backpack giveaways, to helping people with housing and utility issues. The Outreach Center also gives away gift cards to families in need during the Christmas season so no child goes without a gift.
Every 4th Saturday, the Outreach Center hosts the Carol Ramsey Community feeding from 9am-11am at the LMTS Gym at Tabernacle of David Church. The feeding was founded by Mother Carol Ramsey, who passed away in early 2018. While she may not be present, her passion for spreading Christ's love is very much present with the volunteers. Not only are the guests fed naturally, they are fed spiritually as well .
In 2020, Pastor Trice and the Board of Directors appointed Joshua Gillespie as Director of LMTS Outreach Services, and shortly after, Joy Gleason was appointed Volunteer Coordinator. Both are faithful members of TOD and are committed to serving the Greater Lansing Community.
Whether you're in need of groceries and toiletries, looking for a job, housing and utility assistance, or entrepreneurial advice - our team would love to assist you!
LMTS Outreach is an equal opportunity provider.
